Lys du Nord sources balsam fir trees exclusively from producers affiliated with APANQ (Association des producteurs de Noël du Québec), the recognized quality standard for Québec-grown Christmas trees.
Every cross-border tree shipment includes a phytosanitary certificate issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, confirming the trees meet plant health requirements for export to the United States.
Trees and essential oils shipped under CUSMA (the Canada–United States–Mexico Agreement) qualify for 0 % customs duty, backed by a certificate of origin issued with every export order.
Each batch of boreal essential oil ships with a Certificate of Analysis covering purity, density, optical rotation and other key physical parameters.
Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry results are available per batch, giving formulators a detailed breakdown of the chemical composition of each essential oil.
